A pandemic hit the world, my girlfriend got pregnant, I lost my job. I went back to school, started freelancing, got myself a drivers license and a car (and lots of baby stuff.) Bring on 2021 I’m ready.
I think it’s safe to say that this has been one of the most eventful years of my life. It’s been filled with highs and lows that has taught me so much. I’ve learned to adapt to the circumstances and stay flexible when navigating uncertainty. To focus on what I can affect and keep a positive vision going forward.
After working a couple of years with designing consumer goods I've realized that my interest lies more in thinking about why to design certain things and for whom, rather than what to make and how it might look. I enjoy work the most when it involves ideating and prototyping with a team, but don't get me wrong. I still like making pretty things :)
